Nate grew up on Orcas Island, WA, then moved to Pateros, WA at age 13 where he went to high school. He spent his college years at Saint Martin's College in Olympia, WA where he was a 3 time college conference champion and currently holds 5 college conference records. Nate currently lives, trains, and goes to school in San Antonio, TX. He has a sub 14:30 5k goal in his sights and plans on running the San Antonio 5k championship in February, 2006.
